WPF / C# developer - remote position

Profile

A background as C#-WPF software engineer, with 2-5 years experience in an equivalent role;
Preferably experience with HMI programming;
A passion for software automation and controls;
Able to (re)use open source technologies and tools when appropriate;
An open minded and out-of-the-box thinker;
Experienced with agile development of software;
Team player, possessing eagerness to work in a multidisciplinary and international team of engineers;
Can work independently and takes responsibility;
Bachelor/Master in the field of IT, Industrial automation (electronic or mechatronic engineering or software development) or mechanical engineering with strong software focus.

Skills

GUI/HMI design: .NET, C#, WPF, event driven architecture;
Design software: UML design tool;
Version control tools: Git (Bitbucket), Subversion;
Project approach: Scrum/agile;
Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English,.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the work breakdown, plan and track your activities;
Recognize/resolve bottlenecks and emerging problems in time and address them with the team;
Estimate and plan your own workload and monitor progress in an agile way;
Develop HMI software (C#, WPF) and / or simulation software;
Realize the software according to agreed specifications, together with the team;
Create a software test plan, execute software tests (continuous integration, unit testing, integration testing);
Create software documentation and a user manual for the developed software.
